Crochet hook size 3mm

Let’s start making it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make a Magic Ring<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 1:<\/strong> Ch 3 (count as a dc), ch 2, (dc 4, ch 2) repeat 3x, dc 3, join with slip stitch in the first ch 3. Pull the yarn tail to close the Magic Ring. I also like to hide the yarn tail while continuing crocheting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 2:<\/strong> Ch 3, {(dc 2, ch 2, dc 2) in the corner, dc in next 4 stitches} repeat 3x, (dc 2, ch 2, dc 2) in the corner, dc in next 3 stitches. Join with slip stitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The base is done. Next, start making the side of the mini bag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slip stitch to the next stitch. Now we are in the 2nd space from corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 3-6:<\/strong> Ch 3, dc in next stitch, {(dc 2, ch 2, dc 2) in the corner, dc in next 2 sts, skip 4, dc in next 2 sts} repeat 3x, (dc 2, ch 2, dc 2) in the corner, dc in next 2 sts, join with slip stitch to the first ch 3. Slip stitch in the next 2 sts. Now we are in the 2nd space from corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now let’s make the bag handle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slip stitch until we reach the big space. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bag handle pattern:<\/strong> (Sc, ch 1, turn) repeat about 20x. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cut the yarn. Using tapestry needle, connect it to the other top side of the bag. Make one more bag handle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hide all the yarn tail using tapestry needle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now you have a cute mini granny square bag!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
