DK-weight crochet yarn
3mm crochet hook

Let’s start making our hair bun maker!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Making the BASE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start with chain 18. Put a stitch marker. Continue chain 18. Put the second stitch marker. Continue chain 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Use a ruler to measure the chain. 9cm + 9cm + 9cm = total 27cm. Feel free to adjust your chain number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, sc in the BACK LOOPS ONLY. Continue sc until you reach the stitch marker. Then ch 18. Then sc in the next stitch marker (sc in the BACK LOOPS ONLY), continue until the end. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now the BASE is ready.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding the WIRE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cut the wire about 2 x 27cm + 5cm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fold the 5cm wire. Hold the wire around the BASE. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2 sc in each stitch for the corner. Sc around the wire. Don’t forget to hide the yarn tail while you crocheting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continue 2 sc for the corner, and sc until the wire hidden completely. Join with slip stitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first round with wire finished. Ready to make the next round. You can just make it plain will all single crochet. Or make ruffle-style like mine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How To Crochet The Ruffle-Style Hair Bun Maker<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Chain 5, sl st in the next stitch) repeat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the middle part, just sc in each stitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then do the ruffle-pattern again. (Ch 5, sl st in the next stitch) repeat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continue the pattern until you reach the end of this round. Join with slip stitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fasten off and cut the yarn. Use tapestry needle to hide the yarn tail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
