MR: Magic Ring
\nst(s): stitch(es)
\nsl st: slip stitch
\nch: chain
\nsc: single crochet
\ncross stitch sc: instead of yarn over, get a loop by hook from the top
\ninc: increase (make 2 sc in the same space)
\n[#]: number of stitche(s) in a round<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: Use slip stitch for joining rounds. Please watch my video tutorial about how I hide the slip stitch join.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PATTERN:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 1: In a Magic Ring, ch 1, then sc 7 [8 sts]
\nRound 2: Inc in each st around [16 sts]
\nRound 3: (Sc, inc) x8 [24 sts]
\nRound 4: (Sc, sc, inc) x8 [32 sts]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ‘base’ finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start the side of the basket. Working in the back loop only, do the cross stitch single crochet in each stitch around. Join the round using slip stitch. Make sure you still have 32 stitches total.
\nNext round, working in both loops. Cross stitch single crochet in each stitch around. Total 32 stitches.
\nContinue until the basket finished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cut and secure the yarn. Hide leftover tails inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
