sc: single crochet
inc: increase (2 sc in the same stitch)

R1: in a MR, sc 6 [total 6 sts]
R2: inc x6 [12]
Note: Place a stitch marker in the first stitch of each round.
R3: (sc, inc) x6 [18]
R4-5: sc in each st [18]
Fasten off, leaving a 5-inch yarn tail.

Repeat R1–R5 for the second end, but do not cut the yarn.
R6: Align both ends and join them with 1 sc in each stitch around through both edges [36]



Make sure to count your stitches carefully and use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch.
After R6, you may notice a gap in the center. Use the yarn tail to close it.
R7: (sc in 4 sts, dec) x6 [30]
R8: (sc in 3 sts, dec) x6 [24]
R9: (sc in 2 sts, dec) x6 [18 ]

R10-28: sc in each st around [18]
Stuff firmly with polyester fiber.
R29: (sc in 2 sts, inc) x6 [24]
R30: (sc in 3 sts, inc) x6 [30]
R31: (sc in 4 sts, inc) x6 [36]
Using a stitch marker, divide the 36 stitches into 2 equal parts (18 sts each).

Continue in one part only:
R32-34: sc in each st around [total 18 sts]
R35: (sc, dec) x6 [12 sts]
R36: dec x6 [6]
Stuff, cut the yarn, and close the hole with a tapestry needle.

Repeat R32–R36 to complete the other half. Stuff the piece, fasten off, and close the hole.
