Today I’m going to share with you my video tutorial about how to crochet Square Basket, with almost invisible join slip stitch in the round.

In this Square Basket Crochet video tutorial, I am using t-shirt yarn, and crochet hook size P16-11.5mm.

ABBREVIATIONS
(US Crochet Terms)

MR: Magic Ring
st(s): stitch(es)
sl st: slip stitch
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
3sc: 3 single crochet in one space
[#]: number of stitche(s) in a round

Note: Join with slip stitch. Use stitch marker to mark each corner of a square.

TUTORIAL:

In a Magic Ring, sc 7. Join with slip stitch. Watch my video tutorial how to make invisible join. We will have 8 stitch total.
Mark the 4 corners of a square.
Put marker in the middle of 3sc to mark the corner.
We will make sc on each stitch and 3sc on each corner.
After finishing the bottom part, continue to make the sides of a basket.

Ch 1. Working in the back loops only, sc in each stitch around. Join with sl st.
Next round, working in both loops, sc in each stitch around. Join with sl st. Repeat this round.

Cut the yarn. Fasten off. Use invisible join to finish the basket.
