Crochet Avocado Amigurumi

I made this crochet avocado pattern with beginner-friendly techniques and simple construction. The flesh and skin are crocheted in joined rounds, while the seed is crocheted in continuous rounds. The pieces can be stitched together for a keychain or kept separate for pretend play. Also perfect for decoration or gifts.

Join Fruit (Yellow) & Skin (Green)
Join the flesh and skin together. The wrong side should be inside, with the flesh (yellow) facing you. Using green yarn, work single crochet through the BACK LOOPS of the yellow, and through BOTH LOOPS of the green.
Stuff before closing.
Use less stuffing in the seed hole area.
Join with invisible stitch using tapestry needle.

Avocado Seed (Brown)

The seed is worked continuously in rounds. Do not join with a slip stitch.
In the video tutorial, I used invisible decrease: insert hook into front loops of next two stitches, yarn over, pull through, yarn over, pull through both loops.

R1: MR, sc 6 [6]
R2: (sc, inc) x3 [9]
R3: sc around [9]
R4: (sc, dec) x3 [6]
Sew the hole closed using a tapestry needle, then hide the yarn tail.
