This is tutorial about how to crochet snowflakes for your Christmas project.

In this video tutorial, I am using Stylecraft Special DK yarn & 3.5 mm crochet hook (or 6/0 Japanese size hook). You can use smaller or bigger hook depending on your yarn.

Finished size is about 2.5 x 2.5 inches.

MR: Magic Ring
st(s): stitch(es)
sl st: slip stitch
ch: chain
hdc: half double crochet
[#]: number of stitche(s) in a round

Round 1: In a Magic Ring, sc 11, sl st to the first sc [total 12 sts]
Round 2: Ch 5, (skip 1, 2 hdc in the same st, ch 3) repeat 5x. Skip 1, hdc in the first st, connect with sl st.
Round 3: (Ch 5, sl st, ch 8, sl st, ch 5, sl st) in each section. Connect to the next section with sl st.

Fasten off.
