Tunisian Crochet Twist Lace Headband

This is tutorial about how to Tunisian Crochet Lace Headband With A Twist.

Tunisian (or Afghan) Crochet makes a beautiful and squishy texture. Learn how to Tunisian crochet and make simple lace headband with a twist.

In this video tutorial, I am using Stylecraft Special DK yarn & Boye Crochet Hook G-6/4.25 mm. You can use smaller or bigger hook depending on your yarn.

Finished size: Headband wide approx. 1.75 inches

Notes:

Remember that in Tunisian crochet, right side of your work is always facing you. You will go back and forth on your work and NEVER TURN.

Pattern:

Start with ch 11.

Step 1: Start from 2nd ch from the hook, pull up a loop in each chain. Keep all 11 loops on hook.

Step 2: Going left to right. Yarn over (yo), pull through first loop. Next, yo and pull through two loops, continue until there is only one loop left on the hook.

(The foundation row completed.)

Step 3: (Yarn over, skip a vertical bar, pull up a loop through the vertical bar) repeat. Total 11 loops on hook.

Step 4: Going left to right. Yo, pull through first loop. Next, yo and pull through two loops, continue until there is only one loop left on the hook.

Repeat step 3 & 4 to desired length.

Cut the yarn, leaving 5 inches tail.
Fold the headband. Right sides facing. Look at the video instruction about how to sew.
