Cat Amigurumi Crochet Pattern
This is a crochet pattern for a cute cat amigurumi. It’s beginner-friendly and made using simple stitches. Follow my pattern below to create your own soft and adorable cat.

MATERIALS
DK weight yarn (cotton used here)
3.5 mm crochet hook
Polyester fiberfill
Stitch markers
Tapestry needle
Scissors
ABBREVIATIONS (US Crochet Terms)
st(s): stitch(es)
sl st: slip stitch
MR: Magic Ring
ch: chain
sc: single crochet
dc: double crochet
inc: increase (2 sc in the same stitch)
dec: decrease (sc2tog, preferably using Invisible Decrease)
Invisible Decrease: Insert hook into the front loop of the first st, then the front loop of the next st (3 loops on hook). Yarn over, pull through the first two loops (2 loops remain). Yarn over again, pull through both loops.
R: Round
[#]: total stitch count for the round
NOTES
This pattern is worked continuously in spirals; do not join rounds unless stated.
Use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of each round.

HEAD

R2: inc x6 [12]
R3: (sc, inc) x6 [18]

R6–9: sc in each st [30]
R10: (sc 2, inc, sc 2) x6 [36]
R11: sc in each st [36]

Place safety eyes between R9–10, about 7 stitches apart. Stuff with fiberfill as you go.

Stuff with fiberfill.
