In this step-by-step video tutorial, I’ll show you how to crochet a hanging toilet paper holder. It’s a practical and pretty way to keep a spare roll within reach, and it adds a cozy handmade touch to your bathroom. Because the holder is crocheted with two strands of yarn held together, the fabric is thick and sturdy, so it keeps its shape nice.

Materials
- Yarn: polyester yarn, held double (2 strands together)
- Crochet hook: 6.5 mm. I use the Boye Crochet Hook Set.
- Stitch markers: Clover Needlecraft Split Ring Markers
Tips
- Holding two strands together makes the holder thicker and sturdier. You can use two strands of the same color, or combine two colors for a fun speckled look.
- Use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of each round so you don’t lose your place.
- Make a matching set with a basket or coaster in the same colors for a coordinated bathroom.
