Watercolor Waves Crossbody Bag Sewing Project
Watercolor Waves Crossbody Bag Sewing Project is my first bag sewing project. Outer fabric is cotton canvas, Watercolor Waves from P. Kaufmann, which is really bright and fun color to work with. For batting, I used interfacing 2mm 180 gram fusible 1-side adhesive. And for liner I used calico fabric, which is a bit heavier in my opinion. I wished I used regular cotton fabric, but I only had this at that time.
I added strap attached to the lining to hold the key, inspired by my Kipling bag. The strap is very helpful. You don’t have to spend time to look for your key anymore. I also added two little pocket on the inside, but I think next- time it would be better to add elastic for pocket for better holder.
